What the label says should match what’s in the bottle. Our third-party lab quantifies the exact milligram concentration of CBD, CBN, CBG, CBC, and THC in every batch. If a product says 1,000 mg of CBD, the COA confirms it—within the lab’s validated margin of analytical precision. No rounding, no estimates.
Purity: Certificate of Analysis Contaminant Screening
Every batch is screened for more than 500 pesticides and herbicides, residual solvents from the extraction process, and heavy metals including lead, arsenic, mercury, and cadmium. Our acceptable thresholds align with or exceed the limits established by the U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP) and state regulatory frameworks. The goal is simple: nothing in the bottle that shouldn’t be there.
Microbial Safety: Certificate of Analysis Pathogen Testing
Hemp-derived products can be susceptible to microbial contamination during cultivation and processing. Our protocol tests for total aerobic microbial count, total yeast and mold count, and the absence of specific pathogens including E. coli and Salmonella. Products must return negative results for all targeted pathogens before release.
USDA Organic Integrity
Several Hemplucid products carry USDA Organic certification—a designation that applies not just to the final extract, but to the entire supply chain. USDA Organic standards govern the soil the hemp is grown in, the cultivation practices used, and the processing methods applied during extraction. This means no synthetic fertilizers, no prohibited pesticides, and no genetically modified organisms at any stage. Our organic CBD collection reflects this commitment.
Organic certification does not replace third-party testing—it complements it. We test our organic products with the same full-panel protocol described above, because certification verifies process, and testing verifies outcome. You need both.
How to Read a Certificate of Analysis
A COA is a document issued by a third-party laboratory summarizing the test results for a specific product batch. If you’ve never read one before, here are the key terms to look for:
Analyte: The substance being measured—for example, CBD, THC, lead, or a specific pesticide.
LOQ (Limit of Quantification): The lowest concentration the lab can accurately measure. If a result reads “< LOQ,” it means the substance was either absent or present below the lab’s detection threshold.
ND (Not Detected): The substance was not found at any measurable level. This is the result you want to see for contaminants.
Pass / Fail: A summary judgment based on whether the measured value falls within acceptable limits. All Hemplucid products must receive a “Pass” on every tested parameter before release.
