Key Takeaways

What to Know Why It Matters
Spectrum decides your THC exposure Full-spectrum keeps trace THC. Broad spectrum removes it to non-detect. Isolate is CBD alone.
Check THC per container, not just per gummy 1.5 mg per gummy is 45 mg per 30-count bag, the figure drug tests and the federal cap care about.
Read the batch COA before you buy A 2017 JAMA study found only 31% of CBD products were labeled accurately.
Compare price per mg of CBD Sticker prices mislead. Our picks run from $0.037 to $0.080 per mg.
Federal hemp rules change on December 11, 2026 A 0.4 mg total THC per container cap takes effect unless Congress delays it again. Most full-spectrum gummies exceed it.

The 7 Best CBD Gummies of 2026, Reviewed

Specs come from each brand's product page and published batch COA; review counts are as of October 12, 2026.

Best Overall: HempLucid Full-Spectrum CBD Gummy Cubes

HempLucid Full-Spectrum CBD Gummy Cubes, 25 mg, 30 count

The simplest gummy on this list, and the one we would hand a first-time buyer.

Key specs

  • 25 mg organic full-spectrum CBD per cube, 30 cubes per jar, $49.95 ($0.067 per mg)
  • THC: 1.2 mg per cube and 36 mg per jar on the label; the July 2026 lot COA measured about 1.8 mg per cube (0.06% by weight)
  • Vegan pectin base, no corn syrup, no artificial sweeteners, 2 g sugar per cube
  • Batch COA: tested by Aromatic Plant Research Center in Lehi, Utah; look yours up by lot number at Lucid Labs
Pros Cons
Whole-plant extract with minor cannabinoids and terpenes; 4.7 stars from 84 reviews 1.2 to 1.8 mg THC per cube, so not for anyone who gets drug tested
Short, readable ingredient list One strength only; no 10 mg starter

Why we chose it: It does one thing well. The extract is the same organic full-spectrum CBD HempLucid uses across its range, the sweetener list is short, and the lab report is a QR scan away. The July 2026 lot measured 27.3 mg CBD against a 25 mg label.

Best for: Daily use by people who want the full plant profile and are not subject to THC testing.

Best for Sleep: HempLucid Sleep Mushroom CBN Gummies

HempLucid Sleep Mushroom CBN Gummies, 30 mg CBD and 15 mg CBN, blueberry lemon

Built around CBN, the cannabinoid people reach for at night, and deliberately made without melatonin.

  • 30-count $59.95 ($0.067 per mg CBD), 10-count $22.95; melatonin-free; vegan
Pros Cons
Melatonin-free, so you skip the next-morning grogginess melatonin gives some people 1.5 mg THC per gummy is enough to notice if you are THC-sensitive; 21+ only
10-count lets you try it before committing to a bag $59.95 is the highest sticker price here, and it is not for drug-tested readers

Why we chose it: Every other sleep gummy we scored leaned on melatonin. This one pairs CBD with CBN and three botanicals people have used for evening wind-down for generations. Read how CBN supports sleep for the research, then compare the rest of HempLucid's CBN gummies for sleep.

Best for: Evening use by adults who have tried melatonin and would rather not.

Best for Stress: HempLucid Stress Mushroom THC Gummies

  • 25 mg broad-spectrum CBD plus 2.5 mg delta-9 THC per gummy, watermelon flavor
  • Reishi, cordyceps, ashwagandha and GABA
  • THC: 2.5 mg per gummy, about 75 mg per 30-count bag
  • 30-count $59.95 ($0.080 per mg CBD), 10-count $22.95; vegan

Adaptogen blend people use for daytime calm; 4.7 stars from 36 reviews Highest price per mg of CBD on this list, and about 75 mg THC per bag, far above the December 11 federal cap

Why we chose it: Plenty of gummies promise calm. This one tells you exactly what is in it, down to the 2.5 mg of THC, and sells a 10-count so you can test your own response before buying the full bag. Browse the rest of HempLucid's stress support range for other formats.

Joy Organics Organic THC-Free CBD Gummies, strawberry lemonade, 25 mg

The broad-spectrum pick for anyone who wants minor cannabinoids without THC on the label.

Key specs

  • 10, 25 or 50 mg broad-spectrum CBD per gummy; 30-count $49.95 at 25 mg ($0.067 per mg)
  • THC: non-detect on the published batch COA
  • USDA Organic, vegan, gluten-free
  • 4.7 stars from 564 reviews on the brand page
Pros Cons
Three strengths, including a 10 mg starter most brands skip Non-detect is a lab limit, not a guarantee of zero
USDA Organic certification covers the whole product, not just the hemp Same price per mg as the full-spectrum picks

Why we chose it: Joy Organics Organic THC-Free CBD Gummies publish a batch COA with THC listed as non-detect, carry the USDA seal, and sell a 10 mg strength for people who want to start low.

Best for: Drug-tested readers who still want cannabinoids beyond CBD.

Best Zero-THC Isolate: Extract Labs Organic CBD THC Free Gummies

Extract Labs Organic CBD THC Free Gummies, tropical punch, 50 mg

Pure CBD, 50 mg per gummy, at one of the lowest prices per mg we found.

Key specs

  • 50 mg CBD isolate per gummy, tropical punch; 30-count $59.99 ($0.040 per mg)
  • THC: 0 mg, because isolate contains CBD and nothing else from the plant
  • USDA Organic
Pros Cons
No THC to carry over, which makes isolate the lowest-risk format for drug tests No minor cannabinoids or terpenes
50 mg at $0.040 per mg beats most broad-spectrum products on value 50 mg is a lot for a first-timer; cut the gummy in half

Why we chose it: Extract Labs Organic CBD THC Free Gummies hit the three things an isolate should: zero THC on the COA, organic certification, and a price per mg that undercuts most of this list.

Best for: Readers who want the cheapest clean dose of CBD and nothing else.

Best High-Potency: CBDfx Original Mixed Berry CBD Gummies

CBDfx Original Mixed Berry CBD Gummies, 1500 mg, 60 count

The strongest gummy on this list, and the cheapest per mg.

Key specs

  • 25, 50 or 100 mg broad-spectrum CBD per gummy; 60-count $54.99 at 25 mg, on sale from $64.99 ($0.037 per mg)
  • THC: non-detect on the COA; the label adds "may contain trace"
  • Vegan, gluten-free; made with organic hemp, though the finished product is not USDA certified
  • About 4.8 stars from 1,742 reviews on the brand page
Pros Cons
100 mg option for experienced users "May contain trace" means this is not a zero-THC product
60 gummies per bottle brings the cost per mg down to $0.037 One flavor in this line

Why we chose it: CBDfx Original Mixed Berry CBD Gummies give you the widest strength range and the lowest price per mg of anything we scored. ND on the COA is reassuring, but remember that ND is a detection limit, not zero.

Best for: Experienced users who want 50 mg or more per gummy without paying full-spectrum prices.

Most-Reviewed Full-Spectrum: Cornbread Hemp Berry CBD Gummies

Cornbread Hemp Berry CBD Gummies, 25 mg, 30 count

If "best rated CBD gummies" means the most people vouching for them, this is the full-spectrum pick.

Key specs

  • 25, 50 or 75 mg full-spectrum CBD per gummy; 30-count $49.99 at 25 mg ($0.067 per mg)
  • THC: about 1 mg per gummy at 25 mg, about 30 mg per jar
  • USDA Organic, vegan
  • 4.5 stars from about 3,200 reviews on the brand page
Pros Cons
Largest review base of any gummy here About 30 mg THC per jar, so not for drug-tested readers
USDA Organic full-spectrum in three strengths Strengths top out at 75 mg, not 100 mg as some older lists still claim

Why we chose it: Cornbread Hemp Berry CBD Gummies publish THC in milligrams, carry organic certification and have more verified reviews than the rest of this list combined.

Best for: Full-spectrum buyers who want a USDA Organic product with a long public track record.

Best THC-Free CBD Gummies: Broad Spectrum vs. Isolate

The best THC-free CBD gummies come in two forms, and the difference matters more than the marketing suggests.

Isolate is CBD on its own. The extract is refined until nothing else from the plant remains, so the COA shows 0 mg THC. Broad spectrum keeps the other cannabinoids and terpenes but runs the extract through a step that strips THC down to non-detect. Our guide to full spectrum vs broad spectrum vs isolate covers the trade-offs in detail.

Here's the part most labels skip:

"THC-free" means below the lab's detection limit, not zero. A 2022 study in Drug and Alcohol Dependence found delta-9 THC in 52 of 80 CBD products, including 5 of 21 labeled THC-free. And in a 2021 JAMA Psychiatry trial, 7 of 14 people tested positive for a THC metabolite after four weeks of a full-spectrum product. Trace amounts add up over daily use.

If you Choose From this list
Get drug tested and want no THC in the product at all Isolate Extract Labs (pick 5)
Get drug tested but want minor cannabinoids Broad spectrum with a non-detect COA Joy Organics (pick 4), CBDfx (pick 6)
Are not tested and want the whole plant Full spectrum HempLucid Cubes (pick 1), Cornbread (pick 7)

HempLucid does not currently make a THC-free gummy. If you want a THC-free product from us, look at our THC-free CBD tinctures, where the batch COA shows THC at non-detect.

How We Chose the Best CBD Gummies

We scored every gummy on five things, weighted by how much each one protects you as a buyer.

Criteria Weight What we checked
Batch COA and label transparency 35% A current, batch-matched COA on the brand site; CBD within about 10% of label; THC listed in mg, not just "under 0.3%"
Price per mg CBD 25% Price divided by mg per gummy times count, using the 30-count or nearest size
Ingredients 20% Sugar per gummy, pectin or gelatin, artificial sweeteners, organic certification
THC disclosure 10% Whether THC per gummy and per container is stated, or can be worked out from the COA
Verified customer reviews 10% Review count and average on the brand's own product page, read for repeated complaints

Why the COA carries the most weight: when researchers bought 84 CBD products online and tested them, only 31% were labeled accurately, and 21% contained THC that was not declared. Labeling has improved since 2017, but the batch report is still the only way to know what is in your gummy. The FDA has also sent warning letters to companies making disease claims.

What we did not do: we did not send competitor gummies to a lab. We read each brand's published batch COA, product page and reviews on October 12, 2026 and scored from there. For our own three picks, the Quality & Testing page explains what each line of a HempLucid lab report means.

How to Choose the Right CBD Gummy for You

Four decisions, in the order they matter.

Spectrum

Full-spectrum keeps everything the plant makes: CBD, minor cannabinoids like CBG and CBN, terpenes and trace THC. The idea that these compounds work better together is called the entourage effect. It is a proposed synergy, not a proven one, so treat it as a reason to try full-spectrum rather than a guarantee. If you are drug tested, skip the debate and choose broad spectrum or isolate.

Strength and price per mg

A rough guide: 10 mg if you have never taken CBD, 25 mg for everyday use, 50 mg and up once you know your response. Then do the math that sticker prices hide:

Price per mg = price ÷ (mg per gummy × gummies per container)

A $49.95 jar of thirty 25 mg gummies is 750 mg, or $0.067 per mg. A $54.99 bottle of sixty is 1,500 mg, or $0.037 per mg: pricier on the shelf, almost half the cost per mg.

Read the COA

Every brand on this list publishes one. Open it and check five things:

  • The batch or lot number matches the one on your package
  • Measured CBD is within about 10% of the label claim
  • THC is reported as a number, per gummy or per gram, not just "below 0.3%"
  • Pesticides, heavy metals, residual solvents and microbials all show "pass"
  • The report is dated within the last year

For HempLucid products, scan the QR code on the package or search the lot number at Lucid Labs.

Ingredients

Look past the cannabinoids. Sugar runs from 2 g per gummy to more than 4 g on some brands. Pectin means vegan; gelatin does not. Melatonin works for some people and leaves others foggy the next morning, which is why our Sleep gummy leaves it out. Functional add-ins like reishi, ashwagandha or CBN are a bonus only when they are dosed in milligrams on the label.

CBD Gummies and the December 2026 Federal Hemp Rule

As of October 12, 2026, here is where the law stands.

What changed. The November 2025 federal funding law (Public Law 119-37) rewrote the definition of hemp. The old test was 0.3% delta-9 THC by dry weight, which is still the wording in USDA's regulation. The new one measures total THC, and a finished product may contain no more than 0.4 mg of total THC per container. A September 2026 law (Public Law 119-103) pushed the effective date for most of these changes to December 11, 2026. Bills to delay it further are pending, and the Congressional Research Service has a plain-English summary of the definitions and dates.

What it means for gummies. Almost every full-spectrum gummy exceeds 0.4 mg per container. A 30-count with 1 mg of THC per gummy holds 30 mg. Picks 1, 2, 3 and 7 on this list are all above the cap. THC-free broad-spectrum and isolate products, picks 4 to 6, are the lowest-risk formats under the new definition. State law applies too.

What we are doing. As of October 12, 2026, all three HempLucid gummies on this list remain for sale. We will update this page and each product page if the rule takes effect as scheduled, and any reformulated version will ship with its own batch COA.

We are not telling you to stock up, and we are not calling any product on this page "compliant."

How to Take CBD Gummies: Dose, Onset and Safety

Start low, change slowly, and eat something first.

Dose. Begin with 10 to 25 mg, which for most products on this list is half a gummy to one gummy. Hold that amount for one to two weeks before you change it. Our CBD dosage guide walks through how to step up from there. For the two HempLucid gummies that contain THC, start with half a gummy and wait a full day before taking more.

Onset. Expect 30 minutes to 2 hours. Gummies pass through your digestive system, so they are slower than a tincture held under the tongue. Oral CBD on an empty stomach has a bioavailability of about 6%, and a high-fat meal raises that roughly fourfold. Take your gummy with food. Our post on how long CBD takes to kick in compares formats in more detail.

Safety. CBD is generally well tolerated in studies at doses far above what a gummy delivers. The most common side effects are tiredness, diarrhea and changes in appetite. The FDA notes that CBD can affect the liver and interact with other medications, so talk to your doctor before you start if you take anything else. And the NIH's National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health points out that labels are not always accurate.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the best CBD gummies on the market?

The best CBD gummies on the market publish a batch COA, state THC in milligrams, and cost about $0.07 per mg or less. Our top pick on those terms is the HempLucid Full-Spectrum CBD Gummy Cube; Joy Organics is the best THC-free option and CBDfx the best value.

What are the best rated CBD gummies?

By review volume, Cornbread Hemp Berry CBD Gummies lead this list with about 3,200 reviews at 4.5 stars. By average rating, CBDfx sits near 4.8 across 1,742 reviews. Counts were taken from each brand's product page on October 12, 2026.

What are the best THC-free CBD gummies?

Choose by how strict your THC limit is. Extract Labs' isolate gummies contain 0 mg THC. Joy Organics' broad-spectrum gummies show THC as non-detect on the batch COA and come in a 10 mg starter strength. HempLucid does not currently make a THC-free gummy.

Will CBD gummies make me fail a drug test?

They can. Full-spectrum gummies carry trace THC, and a 2021 JAMA Psychiatry study found half of participants tested positive after four weeks of daily full-spectrum use. Broad-spectrum products reduce that risk. Isolate removes THC from the product entirely. If a test matters to your job, choose isolate.

How many CBD gummies should I take?

Start with 10 to 25 mg, usually half to one gummy, and hold that dose for one to two weeks before changing it. Take it with food for better absorption. Our CBD dosage guide covers how to adjust from there. For gummies that contain THC, start with half.

Do CBD gummies get you high?

CBD on its own does not. Full-spectrum gummies contain trace THC, usually too little to notice. The exception on this list is HempLucid's Stress gummy at 2.5 mg THC, which can be mildly noticeable. If a THC effect is what you want, HempLucid's CBD + THC gummies are labeled for exactly that, 21+ only.

Are CBD gummies legal after December 11, 2026?

As of October 12, 2026, a federal cap of 0.4 mg total THC per container is scheduled to take effect on December 11, 2026. Isolate and non-detect broad-spectrum gummies fall under it; most full-spectrum gummies do not. Bills to delay the date are pending.

The Bottom Line

The best CBD gummies for you depend on one question: why are you taking them?

  • Everyday: HempLucid Full-Spectrum CBD Gummy Cubes
  • Sleep: HempLucid Sleep Mushroom CBN Gummies, melatonin-free
  • Stress: HempLucid Stress Mushroom THC Gummies, 21+
  • Focus: Focus Mushroom CBG Gummies, CBG-forward with 5 mg CBD, not scored here
  • THC-free: Joy Organics for broad spectrum, Extract Labs for isolate
  • High potency: CBDfx at 50 or 100 mg

Check the batch COA, do the price-per-mg math, and start with half a gummy. Then shop CBD gummies at HempLucid, or read our guide to the best CBD tinctures if you would rather measure by the drop.
