Deciding which type of CBD product to purchase can be a challenging process. There are so many different brands, extract types and methods of consuming CBD. How do you decide which is best for you?
Here at Hemplucid, we take pride in our hemp extract methodology. We believe we have some of the purest and cleanest CBD products. Understanding the different types of CBD can help determine which extracts are best for you and your lifestyle.
Full-Spectrum
Full-spectrum CBD is a hemp-derived extract that contains the complete chemical profile, or the “full-spectrum”, of cannabinoids including traces of THC (less than 0.3% THC), terpenes, and other natural compounds found in hemp. These elements combined provide the complete synergistic benefits of the hemp plant.
Hemplucid offers a wide variety of Full-Spectrum or Whole-Plant products from tinctures to gummies. You can check out a list of available products here.
Broad-Spectrum
Broad-spectrum CBD is defined as “full-spectrum CBD without any THC.” The refinement process used to create broad-spectrum extracts is intended to remove any detectable THC, however, methods to develop broad-spectrum CBD can be complicated.
And while we ensure our broad-spectrum products test at less than 0.001% THC, it’s worth noting that any quality hemp-derived extracts have the potential to trigger a false positive on a drug test, in rare cases. This is true of any “THC-free” or “broad-spectrum” hemp products on the market.
Isolate
CBD Isolate is just CBD! And as the name implies, these products are made by isolating that single cannabinoid. All other plant compounds and materials are stripped away, leaving only CBD. Some of our CBD isolate formulations are further enhanced with natural hemp-derived terpenes for added benefit.
