Nature Knows Best – Our Ingredients
We believe nature knows best, especially where hemp is concerned. Whole-plant hemp CBD, as the name implies, leaves all properties of the hemp plant intact.
You’ll hear phrases like “full spectrum”, “broad spectrum”, and “isolate” when exploring available CBD options.
Hemplucid’s Whole-Plant CBD is by definition a “full spectrum” hemp extract, but it differs from other full spectrum products.
So, what sets Whole-Plant CBD apart?
The Power of Whole-Plant Genetics
Over nearly a decade, we worked hand-in-hand with nature to bring rise to a strain of hemp with superior genetics. Our harvests contain high concentrations of secondary cannabinoids, terpenes, and essential phytonutrients.
Whole-plant hemp CBD products provide the plant’s complete natural profile. All of the synergistic properties offered by secondary cannabinoids, terpenes, fatty acids, vitamins etc., are left intact.
These compounds work in unison to produce the entourage effect by interacting with receptors in the Endocannabinoid System (aka ECS).
The ECS is a widespread network that plays a critical role in balancing the body’s physiological processes. Whole-plant CBD provides the therapeutic benefits and versatility of hemp’s complete chemical profile.
Broad Spectrum & Isolate CBD
The term “broad spectrum” can have just as broad a number of definitions. Broad spectrum CBD oil is similar to a full spectrum with one key difference: all traces of THC have been removed.
These extracts can contain traces of secondary cannabinoids, terpenes, and other phytonutrients without the THC. The contents of broad-spectrum products will vary depending on the source.
CBD isolate products are made with isolated CBD and contain no secondary cannabinoids or terpenes. While still beneficial, pure isolate products cannot offer the same synergy found in the whole hemp plant.
THC-Free IsoTerp CBD
Because some individuals are required to avoid any trace of THC, Hemplucid offers a unique formulation of hemp-derived, isolated CBD with a powerful array of high-quality hemp terpenes added back in.
And while these products are THC-free, they can still provide a host of therapeutic benefits with a rich synergy of terpenes. This product has been approved for athletes or anyone looking to avoid THC.
Separation is Natural
We value lucidity, and in doing so have embraced clear bottles for our Hemplucid products. The contents of our bottles are visible for all to see.
Because our products are natural, our Whole-Plant hemp extract will separate from its carrier oil over time. Some customers have raised concerns about the dark coloration that can rise to the top of our tinctures.
Don’t worry, your CBD hasn’t gone bad, that’s just nature doing its thing.
Separation is natural!
Give your tincture a thorough shake between uses, and discoloration should disappear as the extract is mixed with its carrier oil. If separation persists, leave your bottle in a bowl of warm water for a few minutes and it will loosen up for a good shaking.
The color of your CBD will also vary depending on the strength you select. Naturally, lower strengths will be lighter in color due to the lower concentration of our whole-plant hemp extract.
Secondary ingredients, like carrier oils, are necessary for making whole-plant CBD into easy to use tinctures. They also add additional benefits of their own and can enhance the overall effects of whole-plant hemp.
Hemp Seed Oil
Hemp seed oil is rich in healthy fats and is used in a handful of Hemplucid family products. It’s a great source of plant-based protein and has a strong hemp flavor. Hemp seed oil is also packed with essential vitamins and minerals.

MCT oil is a source of concentrated medium-chain triglycerides made from fractionated coconut or palm kernel oil. This carrier oil compliments whole-plant CBD by supporting digestive health, cognitive clarity, and absorption of fat-soluble nutrients.

Organic Vegetable Glycerin & Polysorbate 80
These two ingredients are present in Hemplucid Water Soluble and Vape tinctures.
The Organic Vegetable Glycerin used in our products is a sweet tasting clear liquid that’s derived from soy.
Vegetable glycerin is made by heating triglyceride-rich vegetable fats under pressure. The glycerin separates from the fatty acids and is mixed with water to form a liquid with a syrup-like consistency.
Hemplucid uses organic, food-grade vegetable glycerin as a solvent in our water-soluble CBD. Vegetable glycerin is used as an alternative to alcohol in tinctures.
Polysorbate 80 is an emulsifier (naturally sourced from vegetables) that creates solubility between oil based and water based ingredients. Some individuals have raised concerns regarding the safety of polysorbate 80 in edible products.
The confusion here stems from the existence of both food-grade and cosmetic-grade polysorbate 80.
Polysorbate 80, when used in cosmetics, is not intended for human consumption and may have more impurities. This is why Hemplucid always uses a food-grade polysorbate 80 to ensure the safety of our products.

Nano CBD Water
Nano CBD water provides heightened bioavailability and creates a fast-acting CBD delivery system. CBD is nanosized and encapsulated in water particles, allowing the nanosized CBD particles to be quickly absorbed into the body.
